The wait is over for Phantasy Star Online 2's Episode 5. There's a new story, updated features and even a new course to enjoy. Sega has been hyping up PSO2 Meseta the game's next stage with bonuses and rewards for a while, but now there's even more. Episode 5 looks to be a significant departure from Episode 4, as there are a lot of new things to encounter and a new, high level limit of 90 to reach. The first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular courses, there are prerequisites to unlock Scions, plus they tend to play differently. To play Hero, you should get any two level 75 courses before speaking to Cofy to unlock it.
Hero plays quite differently from what we've seen before. It cannot be utilized as a Sub Class nor have one, so playing with it means only using Hero. It will have quite an arsenal, though, being able to use Swords, Twin Machine Guns and Talis effectively. Since its a brand new class, there'll also be a new Hero character that will give you a hand and provide you fresh quests to practice with. A new skill has been added; howeverit takes one to play through the story to unlock some of these. Dark Blast permits players to turn into one of four Black Falz, for example Hyunal or Angel, equipped with unique, strong attacks and buffs for a limited time. It is kind of like a Photon Blast, but much more impressive as you take on a different form. These forms can be leveled up simply by using them, and points can be spent to boost every form's abilities.
Episode 5 leaves Earth behind and contributes to the ARKS world class. Starting from the end of Episode 3, at which Persona is trapped at a time loop with all the Profound Darkness, the heroes, you and Matoi, try to split Persona out. An anomaly occurs, and you end up in a new world named Omega situated in a dark hole using old and new characters battling corruption once again. Omega is designed with fantasy in mind. It sounds like another detour from the first few Episodes, but it comes back around to events with Oracle, and much of the lore is clarified. Simply make your way through the story to find out.
Buster Quests are a very important part of Episode 5, with lots of the story's battle quests using their mechanisms. These brand new quests are also accessible at the quest counter and may be done with the eight-player multiparty. They're very similar to the Apprentice Urgent Quest, where gamers must work together to safeguard towers out of oncoming enemies. However, there are plenty of new mechanics that make this fresh with how it's more siege-like. After protecting the towers, weapons are deployed and need to be shielded to breach the castle at the opposite end of the area. When it's breached, everyone has to make their way into the boss -- that the castle itself. Buster Quests get gradually harder as their level could be built up such as Extreme Quests. Of course, new quests imply new items, but there are also new medals to be earned and a new store to go along with them.
There's lots of new content with Episode 5 to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta keep players active, and the narrative goes back to being focused around ARKS and fighting the Dark Falz. Alongside these exciting new features, new things and Scratch Tickets are also out, and fresh Urgent Quests will be on how to freshen up things in PSO2
